Purpose

The Human Accountability Board (HAB) is an independent standards body focused on defining clear human authority in AI-assisted and automated systems.HAB publishes structural definitions and reference artifacts. It does not regulate, supervise, enforce, or approve operational behavior.

Definitions

Human Authority
The explicitly defined right and responsibility of a human role to make a final decision within a specified scope.Final Decision Authority
